Meet Your Coach - Charlie Meister

Growing up, I was extremely shy and had very little self-confidence. I played soccer at a high level and was always tall so naturally, I was a very lanky kid.

Being so skinny most of my life led to feeling weak and inferior to my peers. I literally felt like a skeleton. It was my biggest insecurity at the time. At this point, I realized I needed to change. I could not live my life like this any longer. I didn't want to be weak and lanky anymore. This is when I started looking into fitness and bodybuilding.

My friend dragged me into the gym a couple times and made me take a sports performance class with him. It was incredibly hard at first. I was lifting such a light amount of weight and it felt like everyone was watching me. I was very intimidated at first. I didn't want to be there at all.

After going through the initial pains of being incredibly sore for the first few weeks, I slowly started to see progress in my body after a few months of doing this. As soon as I did, I wanted more. I quickly became addicted to the process and I wanted to get as big as possible as fast as possible.

Then fast forward to my final year of university, I had made a lot of progress in the gym and I had started giving my friends tips on training & nutrition and I loved hearing how it helped them with their own progress.

I then got my level 3 personal training certification alongside a nutrition certification and got a job as a 1-1 in-person gym trainer. I've now been an online PT since 2018 and it's the best decision I've ever made.

Fitness for me has helped me not only build the physique I've always wanted but to gain confidence in myself and have a positive body image. Because I struggled with feeling weak for so long, I needed something that could help me change my body and more importantly upgrade my mindset.

I was so lost at first, following any program I could find on bodybuilding.com or following workouts from people I looked up to. Although some of it felt like it worked, I didn't really start making serious changes until I began to learn more about training and nutrition and why many things worked and didn't work.

I started taking guidance from people that were absolutely killing it at the time. The more I learned about how to build muscle, the easier and clearer it became for me to apply it in the gym. It quickly became such a gratifying feeling when a client would tell me how much stronger or how much more confident they felt about themselves, which motivates me every day to help others completely change their lives and feel amazing about themselves through fitness.

Why do I coach?

My own journey is what compelled me to get into coaching. Helping others transform their bodies became addicting by how fulfilling it felt to have such an impact on someone else's life which eventually propelled the creation of MeisterBody.

I've experienced the struggles, uncertainties, and triumphs firsthand. I know how a tailored fitness regimen can transform your life, and now I want to help others unlock their potential and achieve their goals, just as I did. MeisterBody = Master Your Body.

My coaching approach is deeply personalized because I recognize that every individual's journey is totally unique. What worked for me might not work for another, so I dedicate myself to understanding each client's distinct needs and goals. I've been fortunate enough to have coached people from all walks of life; from extremely skinny to very obese to complete beginners and even stage competitors.

This personalized approach ensures that every client receives a training & nutrition protocol tailored specifically to them, guaranteeing not just results but a transformation that goes beyond the physical. Most clients will experience a surge of confidence, body image, improved mood, energy levels, sleep quality and most importantly; significantly improved bio-markers (true indicator of health levels).

What exactly is included in the fitness coaching program?

The MeisterBody Elite 1-1 coaching program includes a personalized workout plan with 3-5 different phases depending on client needs, tailored nutrition plan, ongoing 1-1 support from Charlie, access to the MeisterBody online community (for weekly challenges with cash prizes, Q&A livestreams with Charlie, masterclass video series and more additional resources) and weekly video check-ins & adjustments from Charlie to keep you on target. This program is as hands-on as you can imagine. Charlie will be guiding you from A-Z and so that all you have to do is just follow the program!

How does the coaching work? Do I have direct access to Charlie?

As mentioned above, this program is as hands-on as you can imagine. You will have 24/7 access to Charlie & he will be guiding you from A-Z so that all you have to do is just follow the program. Charlie will design you a highly personalized training, nutrition & recovery regimen that will be based on you, your goals, your lifestyle & preferences. You also have the option to book a Zoom or phone call with Charlie at any point throughout the program should you need further support.

Is this program suitable for beginners?

Absolutely! Our program is designed to cater to individuals of all fitness levels, from beginners to stage competitors. Majority of our clients are either complete beginners who have never stepped foot in a gym before or at an intermediate level with a few years of training under their belt. We will adjust the program to match your current fitness level and gradually progress as you improve.

Can I participate in the program if I have specific dietary restrictions or food preferences?

Absolutely. We take into account your dietary preferences, restrictions, and any food allergies when creating your nutrition plan. Nothing in this program is cookie-cutter or non-personalized;. You will also have the option of swapping any meals you don't like for another which will have the exact same calorie and protein content. Our coaches will work with you to ensure your meal plan is enjoyable, sustainable, and aligned with your goals.

How long does the program last, and what kind of results can I expect?

The MeisterBody 1-1 coaching program is designed to run a minimum of 16 weeks. Over this period, you can expect to see significant improvements in your overall fitness, strength, endurance, and body composition. This is a great time frame to see significant changes in your body composition. After the initial 16 weeks, you will have the option of going onto a rolling monthly program where we will sit down together and re-evaluate your new goals.

With personalized workout programs, tailored nutrition plans, ongoing 1-1 support from Charlie, access to the MeisterBody community for the fun bits & motivation, and weekly check-ins to keep you on target, you'll be more than well-equipped to make substantial progress towards your fitness goals faster than you expect.
